DJ GrapeNuts
Funky Breaks, Dirty Stinky Beats, Bangers and Mashups, Booty Shaking Low Frequencies…
GrapeNuts is known to rock a party, whether it be 50 friends at a backyard barbecue, or 50,000 freaks at Burning Man, GrapeNuts always knows the beat to drop at any given moment.
Starting out on vinyl over 10 years ago, G-Nuts has moved on to a much more travel-friendly digital set-up with a Macbook Pro, a sweet custom wood panel Coltrol Module and NI’s Traktor Pro as a software platform, meaning botomless record crates, and unlimited capabilities to loop and warp mixes on the fly, bending genres, tempos, as well as time and space as we know it...
Grapenuts has the pleasure of being the official in-house DJ for Evo in Seattle, a sweet retail hub/art space specializing in Skate/Snow/Wake sports as well as cutting edge fashion. He is also the official DJ for Mt. Baker Ski Area Throwing down the beats for the preseason party, and special events such as the Legendary Banked Slalom, and Kamp K2 a week-long private party for K2 and friends!
GrapeNuts is long time member of Bellingham’s Boogie Universal and has rocked some epic DJ sets at their all-ages dance events, as well as the Boogie Pyramid in Black Rock City
GrapeNuts was the Event Dj and Sound Coordinator for the SMP Shanghai Showdown in China- A Skate and BMX freestyle and vert competition in Shanghai China at the world’s biggest Skate park. This event was a live brodcast on China Television as well as filmed for various independent projects and Fuel Television.
GrapeNuts’ personality and love for music shines through every mix, and it’s hard not to have a good time when he is in control of the soundsystem.

VonDisco
VonDisco is a dance band. They are not trying to change the world, but simply trying to make it a bit more fun.
Fusing elements of Dub, Electronica, Disco, House, Drum and Bass, New Wave, and Lounge,VonDisco certainly push their sound to the far reaches of sanity. Started in 2006 as a side project and live jam session, the group has quickly evolved into a cohesive unit whose improvisatory journeys into deep dance-centered music connect to a wide audience.
Based on the open format of such ensembles as The New Deal (Canada) and The Bays (U.K.), it is evident through hearing VonDisco, in the live sertting , that anything can and will happen, and that a brand new musical idea in the spur of the moment, may take the band well into uncharted territory.
Rather than falling into songwriting clichés, VonDisco have a very open and organic interpretation of how a song or piece is formed, with certain elements always evolving throughout the performance. The time may speed up or slow down, the feel may change from dub into drum and bass, but it is all with purpose and relation to the listeners and dancers.

doesn’t even begin to describe it.
Hailing from a small village on the outskirts of the great Peyote Desert in Mexico, this former Lucha Libre champion has now since given up his career in fighting, deciding to dedicate the rest of his life to blending beats and rhythms and breathing new life back into forgotten gems.
with the ears of a rabbit, the eyes of a hawk and a mask of mystery, The Masked Avenger is a force with which to be reckoned.

Megatron
Combining the key elements of heavy soul, funk, and afrobeat, this new trio on the scene follows in the footsteps of legends Lou Donaldson, and Jimmy Smith, as well as contemporaries; The Sugarman Three, Soulive, and Medeski Martin & Wood.
With masterful musicianship, a taste for vintage sounds and unique arrangements of common tunes, this group will not only impress the most astute music snob, but can keep the party rocking all night long, rivaling any “Jam band”
Although Megatron only consists of 3 members, their sound has been described as: “a bar fight between Duke Ellington’s big band, Twisted Sister, and Parlament Funkadelic.” What’sUp Magazine
This enormous sound is primarily due to the two-man rhythm section of Julian MacDonough, on drums, and Delvon Dumas, on Hammond B-3 organ, Clavinet, Fender Rhodes and Synth.
Delvon, a multi-instrumentalist who is primarily self-taught, posesses the rare talent of holding down a bass line in his left hand, while comping chords or soloing in his right hand. The use of two or three keyboards at once, further fattens out Megatron’s sound. By the end of the show there is usually a pack of ooglers behind the organ, hanging on his every note.
Julian, who has played everything from speed metal to recreating Elvin Jones’ thunder on Coltrane’s A Love Supreme, is a lyrical and powerful presence in the band- filling in all the gaps with tasty percussion and polyrythms. His creativity and intensity is always a crowd pleaser
Fronting the group is trumpet player Paul Chandler. Starting classically at the age of three, Paul has a vast collection of influences, genres and styles from which he can pull to shape the sound. As a performer he is not afraid to take risks and the crowd can easily recognize that. As a leader, Paul has a great knack for engaging the audience like they are old friends, and slyly coaxing them get up and dance.
Megatron is actively setting up national and international touring over the next year, and have had the pleasure to open for such national acts as; Michael Franti & Spearhead,The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Rebirth Brass Band, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, The Budos Band, Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk, and The New Mastersounds (U.K.).
Megatron’s new release “I Believe in a Thing Called Soul. Volume 1” on Dirt Factory Records is grooving collection of original debut material with a couple of cover versions of some lesser-known funky gems. As a bonus, there is a live track as well as two remixes. Produced by Paul Chandler, the disc has the distinct flavor of classic soul and funk recordings from the 60’s and 70’s, but also contains some modern twists.
It is available for purchase at all live shows and also at CD Baby.com
This same album has been licensed by P-Vine records in Japan, and contains some bonus tracks and new artwork. It is available in record stores in Japan as well as online at P-Vine Records.
